Simon and his parents were going camping, and he was dreading it. Remembering what had happened the last time they went camping, he tried everything to convince his parents to let him stay home... to no avail. Little did he know that a chance encounter with another boy would change his life forever, and open the door to a love he thought he'd never find.

Dale Carpenter and his Husband, Mark, always wanted a child of thier own. Little did Dale know that fate was about to present them with a little gift that would change his and Mark's lives forever in ways that neither of them could have ever imagined, and it all started one busy friday night at the mall where Dale worked as a security guard.

He awoke to find himself alone and in pain in an abandoned home. Where he was, or how he got there was unknown to him. What was worse; he didn't even remember who he was. Everything was a hazy mist in his mind, except for the pain he felt from the many injuries that had been inflicted upon him. His strength was quickly leaving him, and he knew that if he didn't get help soon, he would probably die.

They were from two different worlds, and yet their love knew no boundries. One a colonist enslaved by a ruthless enemy, the other a survivor of a crashed ship. Together the two of them must bring their people together if they are to have any chance of seeing freedom ever again. But old prejudices could prove the more deadly enemy as both soon found themselve pitted against not only a conquering alien race, but also against fear and hatred from both their species.

A troubled Chris McCabe planned to spend the Christmas holidays alone at his family's cottage up north, hoping that there he'd be able to work out the things that were causing him so much pain. Dismissing the townsfolks' warnings about an approaching storm, he decided to take a walk outside, a decision he soon regretted when a tree fell upon him, pinning him to the ground by his leg and causing it to break. He was trapped and alone, and getting colder by the minute. Barely conscious, he heard a sound behind him, a sound which was getting closer...

Frightened, and alone, runaway ten year old Kyle spent most of his days on the beach along the lake, longing for the mother he lost so long ago. He couldn't trust anyone for fear that they might return him to the place he ran away from. He'd do anything not to have to return there, but mostly, he'd do anything to have someone love him like his mother used to. If only someone would rescue him, protect him, and love him so he'd never get hurt again...

They were two friends, forced to endure a seemingly impossible quest to save the kingdom of Aendil from an evil that threatens to destroy all that they love, including each other. Joined by Dinendal, the last of the druids, and members of the other races, they make their way through the kingdom in search of the one thing that can save all of them; the Sword of Aendil.
