About Me

My name is Jason Finigan, and I am currently the webmaster for the Cedars Campground website, an LGBT campground located in Millgrove, Ontario.

I was born on January 6, 1973 in Bracebridge, Ontario, but was not raised by my natural parents, instead I was adopted when I was very young.

My youth was spent in Burlington, where I continue to live to this day, and attended Frontenac Public School followed by Lord Elgin High School. I breifly went to Sheridan College studying computer programming, but left after a year and a half, having realized it wasn't the field for me.

By the time I was 12 years old, I came to realize that I was gay, though it took me many years to finally be able to admit it to myself. I am currently single, and am hoping that one day I will find someone special to share the rest of my life with.

Several hobbies occupy my time, one of which invovles me slaving over a keyboard for many hours a day to complete a project. That hobby is, of course, website design. Another of my hobbies, one which I take great comfort in, is as an aquarist. I have always enjoyed aquariums and tropical fish, and one day hope to have a 50 gallon aquarium in my home. Finally, I also enjoy, though don't get to do very often, home renovations and interior design. I know, imagine that; a gay guy who loves to decorate. Who'd have thought?

I am a fairly big fan of science-fiction shows and movies. Besides the obvious various Star Trek TV series, I also enjoy Stargate SG-1, and Battlestar Galactica. For movies, I have always enjoyed the original Planet of the Apes and its sequels, as well as movies like Lord of the Rings, Aliens, and of course Star Trek.
